OUR PASSION IS WOOD, NATURAL WOOD AS
WE CHOOSE OUT TO
OUR WOODEN KITCHEN.
TO US, IT FEELS NATURAL TO GIVE BACK TO THE EARTH BY PLANTING NEW TREES. SO FROM THIS YEAR, TEN NEW TREES WILL BE PLANTED FOR EVERY KITCHEN WE MAKE.
We have chosen to support The Perfect World Foundation and the Attenborough Forest project, named in honor of Sir David Attenborough
who planted the symbolic first tree – which is the TPW Foundation's global tree planting initiative. The project plants trees around the world.
By planting trees, existing forests are preserved and the ecosystems and their biological diversity are benefited. Healthy forests also improve air and water quality, provide food, medicine and fresh water, create habitat for wildlife, stabilize soil and reduce desertification and the risk of wildfires.
Like all plants, trees capture carbon from the atmosphere and use it for growth, and some of that carbon is stored in the tree as wood and some enters the soil where it can stay for hundreds or even thousands of years. Trees simply help us fight global warming (the effect of climate change) by reducing CO2 in the atmosphere, and also en effective and a 100% natural solution.
We look forward to being a part of the fine work that
The Perfect World Foundation was formed as
a non-profit organization to protect wildlife in crisis, partly through direct aid but also by increasing knowledge and spreading awareness.
No one is Perfect, but our aim is to inspire for change, one step at a time.
